I realy love my configuration at home with tv-server and tv client. But I also have an old XBOX with XBMC installed.
Could it teoreticaly be possible to use an old XBOX as the tv-client?

Do anyone work on it?

I have a Raspberry Pi 3+ with LibreELEC (Kodi). I have some shares on Mediaportal 1.17 (videos, recorded tv, pictures, music). Kodi has access on these shares. In the power scheduler in "shares" I have setup the IP adress of the Kodi client. Now as long as I'm watching on the Kodi client a video, pictures or listen to music my Mediaportal pc stays "alive". But e.g. when I'm looking IPTV on Kodi client the Mediaportal pc shuts down after a while. That's bad. I would like to have it in this...

Until recently I had a working DVB-IP list. After reinstalling WIndows 10 and putting all the databses, program data and user files for MediaPortal on the new installation, all works but the DVB-IP. The streams still work with VLC but when scanning for them in TVServer config I get 'No Signal' for all of the channels. How can this be. Can it be I got some filters or settings I missed. I really want these channels to get working again.

I am looking for some assistance on developing a new MP1 TVServer plugin, which will in time be followed by an accompanying MP plugin, compatible with the Ares and/or Titan skins initially. Now I am only getting started with this but I have come up against, what I hope is a relatively simple issue to resolve.

I cannot seem to locate the "IEpgHandler" and associated "SetStandbyAllowed" method used to prevent the TVSever sending the HTPC to "standby" while the plugin is working. Now I may not...

Hi,

I have built a new computer for MP and am moving from version 1.16 to the latest MP 1.22.

I noticed there is now no SchedulesDirect option in the TV Server plugins section.

It's been a while since I set up a new MP installation.... I thought SchedulesDirect was something included with the standard install, and it just needed to be enabled. I looked on the Extension Manager and could not find the plugin, and likewise could not find a link to it after searching the plugin download...

I'm using EPG Buddy with MP2 & I'm getting correct EPG data populated. The problem is the schedule seems to be 5 hours behind displayed in MP2's timeline banner. I've experimented with all the setting in the XmlTV plug-in & I cannot get a proper EPG load. Help please!

I have recently started using an IPTV service. I can scan channels from M3U lines successfully and when completed get a status overview showing the number of channels added or updated which is in the hundreds.

When I then go to TV channels to group then and show in the EPG, the only IPTV channel that is there (in the FFMPEG group) is the very first channel listed in the first line of the M3U.

If I swap this line out with another channel, I get the same result - the fist channel listed in...

Hi all,

is there any chance to get waipu.tv | Fernsehen wie noch nie - Live TV Streaming up and running mediaportal 1 eg via ip tv source filter. For kodi a plug in is available. I have no idea how this is implemented. I did not find any information about some kind of a playlist to use outside the web and mobile applications.

I think that this is a different exception to the others that have been reported. This is what happened:

• I woke the system from hibernation.
• From the Windows 7 desktop, I pressed the START button on the remote control to start MP 1.25f.
• On the MP splash screen, the "Starting TV Server" text appeared unexpectedly.
• After a long wait, the MP "Home" panel appeared.
• Attempting to display the "Recorded TV" panel resulted in the "No connection" panel appearing.
• Rebooting...

Hello,

for many years I used a Digital Devices CineS2 on a unicable system with Mediaportal. Recently I upgraded with an additional Digital Devices Max M4, which is a multituner card.
From the CineS2 I was used that the satellite signal strength is always 100%. Even if the signal is so weak that I have dropouts (due to bad weather). The wrong signal display was never a problem, because I could watch TV.

The new Max M4 shows a similar behavior, exept that the signal strength is always 0%. A...

HP Chromebook 11-v001na OS Version 84.0.4147.127 (Official Build) (64-bit) KODI 18.7

Hi everybody,

Just giving a try to MP2, coming from WMCE with DVBLink TV server to watch/record IPTV channels.

DVBLink worked with IPTV as multiple tunners, so I could watch one channel while recording another. Is it possible to get this on IPTV with TVServer? How could I do it?

I have just installed a new Hauppage card to try out OTA TV. On my Win10 installation I don't seem to have a TV-Server configuration option in the Windows menu under Team Mediaportal. I am running 1.24. I tried reinstalling 1.24 to see if there was an option to add TV-Server...no luck.

Is there something I need to do to enable TV-Server on an existing installation?

Recently I added a Magic-Pro ProHDTV Diamond2 TV Card in Windows 10, because no FACTORY driver is support in Windows 10 anymore, so I based on the Hardware ID to find out the compatible driver "NXP SAA7231 Hybrid Capture Device", but it cannot show in the TV Server, another one (ASUS My Cinema U3100 Mini) is OK.

Any advise?

After I update to 1.4.0, timeshifting can max be set to 100 files og size 1024Mbyte.

This has been an issue for many years, if not since inception, and I hoped it would be resolved eventually, but I'm still suffering. I see dozens or people referring to the same issue over the years in these forums, all of which appear to be caused by anti-virus or other Windows settings. The broadcast EPG for DVB-T in the UK has the capability to flag programmes that are interrupted partway through (e.g. by a short news bulletin), and DVRs with appropriate code can use this information to record both parts when you schedule the first part to record.

I have been using tvserver for years and have had this problem for a long time. I use version 1.26
I use a skystar 2 and I use both mediaportal with tvserver and progdvb and the problem is that there are several channels mediaportal that does not tune me even doing a manual search with the data that the channel's progdvb gives me. I also have a separate decoder that if it finds all the channels, the problem is only with tvserver.
Until now I did not care but now I use kodi with tvserver...

Hi there, I am looking to move from tvheadend to mediaportal (changing from Linux to windows server, when the new hardware arrives).
I use 2 X DVB-S2 tuners to record TV and play from multiple Kodi (LibraElec) RPI's in different rooms.
One thing I use of tvheadend is free text title based recordings, so I basically setup a recording on any channel at any time where the title program title contains a specific string of text. Very useful option for catching all airings of a specific program...
